Chapter 6: Burning Bridge
Alice continues to walk towards the forest not knowing where it will lead her. Holding a torch on her right hand and a bottle full of snow flakes on her left hand, she can hear the burning sensation behind her. She just burned the bridge she used to love and cherished.
Alice didn't looked back after what she did. Nobody saw the incident which is quite a relief. No one knew it was her. She didn't run. She just walked away silently, with tears falling down her cheek -tears of freedom. She never knew that she could do it until ashes were falling as if it was raining cats and dogs. She saw colorful ashes. Ashes of the past she might say.
She's still holding the torch but not intending to burn anything now. Her only focus is that bridge. As she walks, flowers started to bloom as if they were celebrating. As soon as she reach the middle of the forest, she opened the bottle and the snowflakes started to escape like fireflies. She let it go. She let them go. The snowflakes flew and became butterflies and went to every flowers that they first saw.
There is a smile on her lips.
At the end of the forest, there is a cliff. In front of her was an ocean. She doesn't know how to swim but she heard someone calling her name. She heard that voice before but she kept on ignoring her.
She jumped.
She was scared but still jumped.
She closed her eyes and finally -she knew where she had to be.
